Enhancement suggestion: Categories list

Now the category side list shows level 0 categories correct (ref https://github.com/leen3o/Dialogue/issues/17). But I'll really like the option of being able to show sub-categories also.

In sites with a low number of categories, it would be good if the sub-categories could be shown directly in the main category list (indented).

Whereas in sites like mine with a lot of sub-categories (and sub-categories under the sub-categories), here it would be help-full if you could limit the view to only show "same level" and "sub-categories".

Did anyone get anywhere with this? I've looked at the current code and it seems this never happened?

I'm also trying to pull category 'sub categories' into the side menu.

i.e.

Category Sub category | Sub category | Sub category | Sub category

Category Sub category | Sub category | Sub category | Sub category

Ideally, I'd like this to be recursive so would loop to any level, but for now, level 2 would be fine.
