Not working correctly with Divi

Please give us a description of what happened.

different results in Divi than with twenty seventeen. SEO in 2017 give both green lights, Divi only in keyword. Reasons for each differ when seen in problem area such as

  • The images on this page do not have alt attributes containing the focus keyword...they do, Divi only
  • The text contains 3 consecutive sentences starting with the same word. Try to mix things up!...Divi only, presents fine in 2017
  • Can not highlight text in Divi, okay in 2017.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

Expected to behave in Divi as in 2017 theme

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. Load Divi, photos, copy

Technical info

  • WordPress version: 4.9.4
  • Yoast SEO version: 7.0
  • Relevant plugins in case of a bug: at this time Askimet, Child theme configurator, Metaslider, Tiny Mice, WP Google Maps
  • Tested with theme: Twenty Seventeen

Issue still appears to happen. Yoast SEO does seem to detect images added via the Divi image module. Divi v3.22.4 Yoast 11.3 WP: 5.3.1

No need to keep bumping this as long as it does not work. I recon it isn't something that will magically get fixed in an update, so when... if... this gets fixed we'll report it here.

Yoast doesn't recognise outbound links which have been created in Divi Buttons which have been created using the Divi builder. Yoast reports that there are no outbound bound links on the page. Wrong. Please fix this issue.
