Prototype for syntactic ambiguity

Open mhkuu opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

What is the goal of this issue?

Create a prototype for the syntactic ambiguity analysis

What needs to be done to achieve the goal?

Create an assessment / research that handles syntactic ambiguity

Does the issue still need UX or research?

Yes, but we'll start with a prototype 😄

If available: what are the tips for fixing the problem or possible solutions?

See Confluence for all research up to now.

What is the expected result/behavior?

A working prototype that allows us to see how the feature behaves.

Should documentation be added or updated for this change? and if so, where?

Yes, let's continue adding documentation to Confluence.

We have been able to implement the original idea of extracting multiple readings out sentences and querying each of them on Google Search. The ambiguity percentage formula (using Google Hits) doesn't work as great as expected though, therefore will go back to doing research to see what other options exist. (Putting the prototype On Hold for now)
