Same problem here. The eye icon is there but nothing is selected or shown when clicked. The other eye icons work.
The eye icon is also not working in the content analysis, when it comes to the following check: You're linking to another page with the focus keyword you want this page to rank for. Consider changing that if you truly want this page to rank.

I'm having the same issue -- none of the highlighting is working through the eye icons in the Readability analysis (beta) portion of the Yoast plug-in for my Wordpress.com website, no matter what editor I'm using. I am curious about the Premium version of the plug in but I am very unlikely to purchase it until this bug gets fixed.
Hi Guys, I have the same problem. Nothing is highlighted. No exceptions in the console. Checked in Chrome, incognito mode. I bought this plugin for this feature, but it does not work at all for old posts. But works for the new posts created with Gutenberg editor. When I tried to edit with the classic editor the page is not rendered and in the console I have exceptions:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'then' of undefined at post.php?post=7777&action=edit&classic-editor:2510 The block "yoast/how-to-block" must have a registered category. The block "yoast/faq-block" must have a registered category.
Also not working when using the Columns block and each sentence is it's own paragraph (similar to a list).

The issue still persists with Yoast SEO v16.7 when using the column blocks. The eye marker tool barely highlights the Consecutive sentences and even if it does (sometimes), it takes a few seconds but that also needs to click within that exact block where the Consecutive sentences are, hit the spacebar, or edit with something before the eye marker highlights anything.

This problem is back from May 26, 2017. It should only take about 5 minutes to hide it with CSS if the function isn't working, right? Hope everything is okay. Do you need extra programmers or volunteers? I can hide the mark till it's fixed if you like.
