Timeout Error - V2 Gateway

Open NexGen-3D-Printing opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

Hi guys/girls and any other lifeforms present!

I set this plugin up a few days ago, and it was working just fine, then yesterday I deleted my cached accessories so I could remove some unwanted double ups caused by another plugin, then I started getting the errors below

[11/26/2018, 1:24:08 AM] [MiAqaraPlatform] [ERROR]Error: timeout: {"cmd":"read", "sid":"158d0001e79f15"} <- Wireless switch [11/26/2018, 1:24:08 AM] [MiAqaraPlatform] [ERROR]Error: timeout: {"cmd":"read", "sid":"158d000275eed0"} <- Reed Switch [11/26/2018, 1:24:08 AM] [MiAqaraPlatform] [ERROR]Error: timeout: {"cmd":"read", "sid":"158d00023ac9f7"} <- Wireless switch [11/26/2018, 1:24:08 AM] [MiAqaraPlatform] [ERROR]Error: timeout: {"cmd":"read", "sid":"158d000256b235"} <- Magic Cube

SID: 158d0001e79f15 is an Aqara wireless button, this was working perfectly in Homekit 3 days ago, I had it activating my garage door through the broadlink plugin in Homekit, and it work perfectly.

I have removed the plugin, reinstalled, deleted cached accessories, deleted my entire homekit setup and started again, but to no avail, I keep getting the same errors.

I have scanned my Gateway for open ports and it comes back with "no open ports" so I'm not sure if 9898 still works, could Xiaomi have pushed an update to close this??

My config:

{ "platform": "MiAqaraPlatform", "manage": { "port": 11128, "password": "XXXX" }, "gateways": { "7c49ebb16deb": { "password": "XXXX", "ip": "192.168.0.45" } } }

Below is screenshot from the web config:

The above three devices are added to Homekit, but I can not control them, but they do update when I use the Mi Home app to toggle the RGB light state of the hub.

Also to point out:

  • Everything in my house is on the same network 192.168.0.xxx

  • The gateway is connected to my 2.4g wifi

  • The gateway is responding to commands from the Mi Home app in IOS

  • I have activated Lan mode in the developer section, I have turned this off and back on, to see if cycling it would help

  • All plugins using the Token system work perfectly

  • I have also setup a test config in Domotiz as it uses the same lan system as this plugin, and the gateway works fine, all devices are detected in Domoticz.

  • I have tried the nightly build, and 2 other forks of this plugin, and they all fail the same way

  • Appears to be a few post's in this issue section and on redit with similar issues

  • I also have the "homebridge-xiaomi-alarmswitch" running, and this functions perfectly.

  • I have also deleted my wireless switches from the gateway and added them back, but still the same error.

I have tried everything and I have exhausted my options, so any advice on other options to try would be most appreciated.

Also is there any other cache on a debian based linux system that this plugin uses that could be causing this? possibly something I need to delete as it's creating an issue after deleting the "cachedAccessories" file in Homebridge.
