[Request]: Spawning custom mod/add-on cars in online

Open AzEExE opened this issue 1 month ago • 5 comments

Problem

I don't know if currently it is possible to do that, but I couldn't get to spawn mod cars with this menu. If it is possible with XML or JSON, enlighten me on that.

Solution

It could be implemented in vehicle tab, as a separate group tag in the vehicle list. No idea how it can be implemented, this is just my feature suggestion.

Reason

I really liked the idea of having real-life cars being in the game rather than workarounds. Imo it made the game more appealing, that's why I preferred FiveM servers more than GTA:O. Since enhanced come out, FiveM lazy bums just didn't work on it, it is been 9 months and they are dead silent about enhanced version support. Well, when there is no support for it, I want to try them in fsl online.

Additional context

To spawn mod cars, add-on spawner mod is the simplest out there, but it needs xinput/dinput dll to work. Due to that you won't be able to connect online (with dinput), or just loading indefinitely (with xinput). After removing them I can get into online but I couldn't get to spawn mod cars with yim.

Actually, FSL V3 allows you to bring any mods into online mode, including but not limited to graphics, vehicles, weapons, and offline trainers. You can try bringing mods into single-player mode, but please remember to disable Bad Bots.

offline trainers

As far as I know offline trainers needs at least xinput1_4.dll to work, which made my game to load indefinitely when I want to get in online, and ends with the game crash. If you did try to load with one and actually did it, I would like to know how you did that. (I also use fsl V3)

I simply put the trainer files and the necessary mod files into the game, then opened it and entered an online solo match. I don't know what the .dll file you're describing is; I've never used it. By the way, you can back up the entire game so that after an update, you can continue launching the older version with the menus still working. Note: This means launching the game directly from the root directory of the older version.

Can you tell me which trainer did you use so you can just play online with mods, and also can you provide picture of that trainer or modded game.

The offline trainer I use only supports Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and its main files are modified from Native Trainer. Another injectable trainer I frequently use supports English, but its website is in Simplified Chinese. The URL is: https://kaboomtrainer.sinaapp.com/download/
