[Request] YimMenuV2 needs a more user-friendly menu
Problem
Hi, I'm just a regular player (not a developer), and I’ve been using YimMenuV2. I really like the power and performance of the menu, but I think a lot of users like me would benefit from a simpler and more visual interface. Especially for people who don’t want to touch stat editors, hex codes, or code.
Solution
💡 What I'm Suggesting: A “User-Friendly Mode” toggle in the menu that does things like:
✅ Adds tooltips or descriptions for each option (e.g. what a feature does, whether it's risky, etc.) ✅ Groups features under simple categories like “Fun”, “World”, “Player”, etc. ✅ Uses checkboxes and sliders more than raw IDs or technical flags ✅ Adds visual feedback to things like:
Teleport (e.g. screen fade, sound, animation)
Spawning (show where it's spawning)
Effects (preview what it looks like)
✅ Hides or minimizes “unsafe” or developer-only options behind an “Advanced” toggle ✅ Adds presets like:
“Make My Car Cool”
“Spawn Friendly Guard”
“Make Weather Spooky” ...........
Reason
🙋 Why This Matters: YimMenuV2 feels like it’s built more for experienced devs and testers — which is great! But a lot of regular players like myself just want to enjoy fun modding tools without diving into coding or stat hex editing.
Making the menu more approachable, readable, and visual would bring in a much wider audience and make it easier for new users to stay safe while enjoying your work.
Additional context
🧠 Inspiration: Think of how Kiddion's menu is super simple, or how Menyoo has "scenario" ...... and other mod menus before BE takes over setups. A friendly mode like that inside YimMenuV2 would be awesome.
Thanks for all your hard work — this menu is amazing and I’d love to see it become more accessible for all kinds of players.
Thanks for considering this — I really appreciate everything the Yim team is doing! 😄
we need to hire a designer for that
I think you're asking a lot for a free menu, with people who don't make any money doing it.
This is my opinion about this one :
Especially for people who don’t want to touch stat editors, hex codes, or code.
I have many friends that I pulled into modding for free with this menu. They never complained even if there were playing before on Kiddions and Yim V1 (that relied more on user scripts than on the bare bone menu itself). They even liked this interface instead of the old F5 unclickable menu of the two above menus i mentioned.
The best way to know how to use the menu is to put some interest on what you are downloading and using. And if you don't want theses things, just don't touch it. Ignore them. And if you're really interested, there is many informations over the internet.
And then my opinion on theses
- Adds tooltips or descriptions for each option (e.g. what a feature does, whether it's risky, etc.) : it's already there, some buttons have the Use with caution like this Unlock GTA+. Others have literaly a description when you hold your mouse on hit.
- Features are already grouped.
- Raw ID, if you're talking still of the stat editor and transactions editor, there is too many stats to display on dropdowns im pretty sure it can cause lags. maybe im wrong, but even with dropdown, that will remove some smoothness for thoses who use it everydays.
- Visual Feedback, really why not. But i hope there will be a toggle to disable it. they make more user friendly and it will be less smooth.
