time zone problem

Open sowillwe opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

I finished several pomodoros today. But in dashboard, they showed up as yesterdays' pomodoros while today's remains to be "no pomodoro". I thought it's because of inappropriate timezone selection (seems to be UTC-4 regardless of the local time zone).

In the calendar tracking view, I also see that it is attributing what should be today's Pomodoro to tomorrow. It seems like it is operating on EST and ignoring the clock on my computer.

Made fix for this issue. Will leave issue open for now, would be nice to migrate to noda time to avoid more issues with time.

I get an strange behavior from dashboard that not shows pomodoros after 15 june. Anyone knows why did it happen? I think the calendar is not setting to current date.

Adding an update here. I'm in the UTC+6 timezone (MDT right now) and it's showing UTC for all entries in the Yapa.db Pomodoros table. Version 2.0.141.
