First of all, Thank you very much for the above mentioned script.

It almost worked on my Debian 11 Bullseye 64 bit system, with only a few issues to be sorted out.

I am enclosing the revised script, which works perfectly. ( I had to add a .txt extension to it, for getting github to upload the file )

Kindly use your favorite Visual Diff Tool to check the changes I have made, as against the script on your master branch.
