Highlighting instance methods
foo = function(){}
highlights foo
only when it is defined in the Create event in an object. Would be nice if it would support other events as well!
Is this for doing some parts of init in user events?
Yup.
Another potential use case:
declare_vars = function() {
foo = 0;
};
declare_vars();
bar = foo; // "foo" doesn't get highlighted
If declare_vars
is out of the object entirely, you can use @interface
and @implements
Mm, interesting.
I was talking about declare_vars
being in the create event though.
"Allow non-top level assignments" checkbox in linter preferences is a workaround in the current versions, although I would still like to support this more properly.
