Importing volumetric slices from files tab (CAT Scan)

Describe the bug?

When importing volumetric slices from the Files tab, the object never fully imports and becomes stuck forever loading. There is no visual that appears in the world other than the import loading indicator, and slicing tool.

To Reproduce

Open Files tab in the Resonite dash, and import the folder containing the image slices. At the import dialog window select "Image slices as volumetric texture". From here the loading indicator resets its position to the world spawn.will process until "Imported, Importing Item, Encoding" where it will not proceed any further and no object will be visible

I believe this was reported in issue #1186 back in January 2024, and then later in the duplicate issue #2248 in June 2024. The established workaround at the time was to import what you wanted into NeosVR, and then migrate it over to Resonite. This workaround is now much more difficult to make use of - firstly, you need to somehow get the original cloud assets to load, and secondly, doing the migration these days requires... uhh, some magic I don't know the details of but I do know of people who pulled it off prior to the NeosVR cloud shutdown.
