toki pona [tok]

I'd like to work on localizing toki pona, which has a ISO 639-3 code of tok. However, I can't find anything about it here: Image

I assume this means a pluralizer has to be made for it? However, toki pona does not care about plurality. "jan li toki" can mean "A person talked." just as well as it can mean "The people are talking." but it can be specified with "jan wan li toki" or "jan mute li toki" for "One people will speak." or "Many people have spoken." respectively.

This is actually a bit less relevant now, since the library auto-builds the pluralizer rules.

If it doesn't have any rules at all, then I think you should be good to just do it. You could do a test with the proper language code and see if it works. If it doesn't, make an issue and we'll look into what's breaking.

We've been a bit stressed recently, and from what we remember, it was pretty hard for us to figure out GitHub, and we couldn't find a good program for editing the json files, but I hope we can once we're less stressed.

Ho, I'm sorry you are a bit stressed. I hope you are doing ok.

When you feel better, you can edit json files quite easily with a code editor like VSCode. You can download it here: https://code.visualstudio.com/download On how to contribute your changes, I recommend you watch this video, and ask any questions here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLRA1lffWBw

there's no tool we can find that would have a grid of like. key column, english string, editable tok / tok-sp string, and when saving actually save it in the way that they need it (no empty strings)

also, does resonite even allow you to use a font with UCSUR sitelen pona embedded in it?

I believe this does work with the right font, however ligatures don't, so you need to manually put in the correct UCSUR codepoints instead of relying on ligature replacement.
