No longer works.
Youtube Center doesn't function what so ever. Nothing really to say. Latest Chrome. Latest Dev build. It doesn't work and doesn't affect the site at all.
Same on Firefox. Just stopped working. Google are such pains in the ass with constant breaking things. You got to watch it exactly how they want or it's too bad for you.
I re-installed chrome and tampermonkey then extracted all of my extensions and it mysteriously started working again. Alright. Lets go with that..

I ran into this same problem today & I can tell you for a fact it was caused by YouTube slowly introducing the beta version of Google's Material Layout to more users. I don't believe I asked or agreed to try the beta layout.. but I just woke up today, got on YouTube, and there it was! As annoying as that was, theres good news; you can easily switch back to the classic layout, which obviously restores all of YTC's functionality. All you have to do is click on your user account icon (or the 3 vertical dots if you're not signed in) located in the top right corner of the YouTube page and then click on "Restore classic YouTube" in the drop-down menu.
I experienced some breakage after opting in to the new layout. Nothing loads on the main page, it's all back. On a video it shows the video and nothing else is clickable or visible. It's a bit off-center as well, pretty annoying. Disabled youtube center for now. Are there any plans to add support for the new layout? (preferably without removing support for the old layout if possible)
edit: nevermind, just did some reading and saw there's a new script being worked on for the new layout. It looks like it hasn't had any updates in a couple months, though, unfortunately.
