New youtube design completely breaks youtube center.

The new design youtube.com/new is completely broken if youtube center is on. I don't really have specifics to report other than it breaks video loading and makes stuff disappear.

I can fully back this up. This calls for serious work on it again and considering the status of youtube-center I fear the worst. This may very well be the end of youtube-center :|

There is kinda a fix for it. Check #2407 third comment works on firefox as well just do the second step

@rayman89 doesn't work at all at least on Vivaldi. It still takes away the entire top bar and videos still don't play. Have you actually confirmed this fix working for you after enabling the new material design through https://youtube.com/new ? (it can be reverted, so don't worry if you want to do so after testing)

Like I said is not a truly fix is like a workaround sort of. It doesn't work perfectly. If you tick off all the autoplay options you can play the videos and it will have many features working properly like the resizing of the video and the download menu. Whatever looks broken to you like the header try disabling the feature related to it and you can keep the rest of the features. (you can access the options via add-on menu with greasemonkey maybe with tapermonkey or other script handling add-ons)
