If user does not crop, output image has different rotation to image that is cropped

If the user does not do a crop action, the output image has a different rotation when compared to a cropped image. Is there a way for me to know whether the user performed any crop action, so I can work with the different situations?

I am having same problem with latest release version 2.2.8, after taking an image from camera and open UCrop, if the user doesn't modify nothing and click done, the image is rotated -90.
