Does plugin-update-checker work with WP Engine's Smart Plugin updater?

Greetings,

I've written a simple plugin for use on a number of WP sites run by my company, hosted on WP Engine. We'd like to take advantage of their smart plugin updater, in hopes that minor updates to this plugin can be updated automatically without our having to visit each site individually.

Do you know if it's possible for this library to work with their updater? If so, are there any special config options I need to implement? We're using the GitHub tag approach, if that matters.

As someone who's written a good amount of open source software I know the value in having people appreciate your hard work. So thank you for this plugin.

Unfortunately, I have no personal experience with WP Engine or their plugin updater. That said, this library works fine with some other third-party updaters like WP-CLI and (probably) ManageWP, so there's a decent chance it could also work with whatever WP Engine is using.
