No response
Additional context
it also happens on some of my own videos, it seems random videos are broken on my version of the app
I'm having this issue too, but only when I open up a video I started watching and left off on, and scrolling back to the beginning.

I too have this issue, it started today - iOS 16.4
glad to know this isn't just me, hopefully the creator of this gets to working on it soon
Any work arounds?
not that i know of, i used a different tweak from another source (youtube++) but the issue seems to still happen
Just fixed mine:
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
great to know there's a fix, but i'm a little paranoid of resetting my phone to fix this :( i just hope the creator releases a bugfix or something soon for ytliteplus
This does not reset the phone, only the network settings :)
I had this issue while fixing YouPiP legacy compatibility. If this option enabled in your YouPiP settings, disable it and restart the app.

I get this even without YouPiP. I suspect it’s a failed preroll ad that gets blocked, and it doesn’t jump to the actual video. I just close the video and click on the video in the feed again and it works.

Yup, it is
so no fix for the failed preroll causing this yet? happens a lot
