[linux] doesnt find my wii guitar

(Using Ubuntu 22.04 and the new engine) so clone hero finds my wii guitar just fine and it shows as "Nintendo Wii Guitar", but in YARG it only shows Nintendo Wii Remote and Nintendo Wii Remote IR, i have tried the udev rule thing and that didnt work, and when i try unplug the wii remote from the guitar and plug it back in, it says the guitar is removed and then added, but it still doesnt show up.

edit: It shows up in YARG v0.10.0b but half of the buttons dont register edit 2: my workaround for now is to use something called Litarthing which redirects all guitar inputs to keyboard (Doesnt work with whammy or joystick)

How are you connecting the guitar? RetroCultMods makes some pico-based adapters you can plug in instead of a Wii Remote and then connect your guitar wired and they work quite well, FYI.
