@dceejay It looks like this branch has been pending your approval/review for the last two years. Got to digging for a health endpoint for node-red, and came across this.

If you go with areas, make sure you add functionality to apply filtering logic, like custom:auto-entities. Otherwise, picking out the specific entities you are wanting to plot, can be challenging....
