Will there be a nix version of sysray-x?

Sorry no, I have enough to do. And this looks like another package builder hell.

I also came here hoping to find some news on NixOS. Birdtray is the only option on Nix, and I am not a fan whatsoever.

Completely understand your reasoning, although I hope one day you reconsider.
