convert error

hi I got error when I run the command as follow: python converter/convert.py --input=models/kaldi/final.mdl --output=models/onnx/final.onnx --chunk-size=20 --nnet-type=2

The error message is: ...... File "/root/kaldi-onnx/converter/parser.py", line 195, in run line = next(self._line_buffer) File "/usr/lib/python3.6/codecs.py", line 321, in decode (result, consumed) = self._buffer_decode(data, self.errors, final) UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 233: invalid start byte

My python version is python3.6 , and the final.mdl is kaldi's example model timit which is from https://github.com/XiaoMi/mace-models/tree/master/kaldi-models.

how can I fix it?

Make sure your final.mdl is text format.
