How to make point-nerf for unbounded scene?

I am quite curious about the effect of point-nerf for unbounded scene, such as the Playground/Train (T&T) with large area of sky.

So I want to give it a try, but i did not find any cues about how to use this method for other datasets.

Could anybody help me? Thanks in advance :)
