Open Merc2D opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug When clicking the install button a massage pops up saying "Unable to install Xcode, If you continue to have problems, please submit a bug report in the Help menu."

To Reproduce click the install button.

Expected behavior simply just installs Xcode v14.1

Version

  • OS: macOS 12.6.1
  • Xcodes: v1.9.0

and yes I'm signed in to my Apple ID.

+1 for this solution, fixed for me. I recommend to have this suggestion on the error message, if possible.

I am running into the same message described here: https://github.com/RobotsAndPencils/xcodes/issues/203

Unable to install Xcode
The operation couldn’t be completed. (ProcessExecutionError(process: <NSConcreteTask: 0x6000038ebbb0>, standardOutput: "", standardError: ""))

Xcodes 1.10.0, macOS 12.6, trying to install Xcode 14.2. I logged into developer.apple.com and am not getting prompted to agree to anything new. Having logged in I can directly download Xcode as described here: https://github.com/RobotsAndPencils/XcodesApp/issues/215#issuecomment-1117091473 But I still can't using Xcodes
