unxip experiment hangs when not enough space on target drive

Describe the bug

I was recently trying to install an updated xcode on a machine with a small hard drive. The target drive didn't have enough space to unxip properly, and when using the unxip experiment, xcodes hung on the unxipping step. When i turned that experiment off, i shortly got a popup saying there wasn't enough space on the drive to unxip properly.

To Reproduce Have xcodes try to download/unxip/install to a drive that doesn't have enough space to unxip properly, while using the unxip experiment.

Expected behavior Any errors produced by unxip experiment should be surfaced and communicated to the user, rather than just hanging in the unxip process.
