Matrix space with Discord bridge

Would it be possible to mirror the Discord rooms on Matrix and bridge them over? Considering that this is a FOSS project, I suspect that there are lots of people who would prefer to use Matrix over Discord to stay in touch with the community. A Matrix space could also attract new people into the community who would've never used Discord at all (e.g. because phone number is necessary).

I'm not an expert with Matrix bridges, but quick research shows that it can be very simple to set up, even without hosting anything. Simplest solution would probably be to create the space and rooms on matrix.org and follow the steps of the bridge bot.
