Description of project

There is an increasing demand for energy which makes design and management of the energy systems of high importance. Therefore, solving optimization problems of complex energy systems are of critical importance. Several methods developed over the years to approximate the optimal solution. However, these methods are computationally intractable. Quantum computing may provide an advantage.
