Lag while typing

Description

Typing is extremely lagging behind. No idea what happened that caused this since I was just using Playground and it suddenly started lagging.

Navigation and other various modes seem to be working just fine.

Operation

Just typing code on the screen. Disabling Xvim makes the lag go away.

Expected behaviour

Should be fast

• Xcode Version [ 8.3.3 (8E3004b). ]
• XVim branch and revision [ develop ]
• Keyboard Language [ Eng. ]
• Input source language [ Eng. ]

What I have done so far

• Restart computer
• Remove Xcode's DerivedData and Caches
• Reinstall Xvim

I believe this is a duplicate of issue #778 but it has been inactive since 2015.
