Buttons when holding Home dont work.

i want to be able to use steam's guide button combos for moving around my desktop, but i cant use any combo that uses the buttons. the analog sticks work, but the buttons refuse to. i use the switch joy con's home button for the guide button and the screenshot button for overlay.
