AV1 Support?

Hi,

I'm testing to use AV1 in order to have better visual quialilty/performance with a less bandwith usage.

i have found the following table:

There some people report that a good bitrate for AV1 in switch is: 2662kbps

i want to test if really feel smoth with this "tiny" bandwith usage. its AV1 supported? i have no the option on the main decoder settings.

Hello, as soon as I know, Switch does not support hardware AV1 decoding only software, which would mean really bad performance, but I'm not 100% sure in that

I'm pretty sure AV1 software decoding should be pretty fast on the Switch, if software decoders are to be believed.

It should do pretty well at around at 720p in realtime
