I think [this](https://github.com/bareboat-necessities/lysmarine_gen/blob/bookworm/cross-build-release/lib.sh#L53) should be `/boot/firmware` rather than just `/boot`.

Thank you. Another potentially useful data point. Was it working in the 2023-10-10 image and then broken in the 2023-12-05 image?
