[1.12] Intra-linking crystal portal results in "[Player] moved wrongly!"

Open nhhollander opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Minecraft Version: 1.12.2 Mystcraft Version: 0.13.7.03 Forge Version: 14.23.5.2821

When attempting to travel through a crystal portal using an intra-linking book, the game interprets the player as having moved wrongly, resulting in them being "rubber banded" back to the entrance to the portal. This only happens in survival mode, creative players have no problem passing through.

Appears similar to issue #330, although that issue was not resolved.

Apologies if this is a known issue, I saw reference to "x moved wrongly!" issues on the Discord server after creating this issue.

I can verify that this is indeed still happening as of the August 2nd update to Mystcraft. Note that I'm running this in tandem with the Continuum modpack as well.

Same error message and everything.

Confirmed still an issue in mystcraft-1.12.2-0.13.7.06 with Forge 14.23.5.2854, no other mods installed.

[Server thread/WARN] [minecraft/NetHandlerPlayServer]: moved wrongly!

Tested in 1.12.2 on mystcraft 1.12.2-0.13.7.06 | Interestingly only seems to be an issue on vertical portals as in my tests horizontal portals are not affected.

Just saw that you're reworking this for 1.15. Hope this information is helpful regardless
