Crafting Paper and Ink like the D'ni

While I was hunting squids to get Inksacks, I remembered the lore about needing paper made from special trees and the ink made from the beetles. Would it be possible to expand the mod in this direction? If I remember correctly, the beetles tend to live near those trees on Riven. Maybe there could be a mechanic like the rubber trees in Industrial Craft 2, where knobs of rubber juice spawn on those trees, you have to right click with a tap. I could imagine a new tree spawning beetles as knobs on them which have to be harvested with a "beetle collection tool". Then they would be crafted into ink vials, replacing the Inksacks in the current recipe. The wood of those trees could be crafted with water into paper, maybe inside a paper press block? Grinding it to saw dust beforehand would be more aimiliar to the real life workflow of paper production.
