[Feature Request] Better BiomesOPlenty compatibility
Currently, Ages generated using Biomes O Plenty Biomes are barren and empty, generating strange flat bits of terrain with no decoration or the typical biome heightmaps.
"Sacred Springs" and "Cherry Blossom Grove" biomes, (sans Spring and Grove.)
As well, Biomes O Plenty has switched to using their own versions of grass, which only obey BiomesOPlenty biome colors, which are completely unaffected by an Age's custom Grass colors.
Age's "Purple" Grass Color seen below, BiomesOPlenty Grasses unaffected.
Update:
I've created an issue with BiomesOPlenty as well in an attempt to resolve this issue. The BiomesOPlenty Github Issue can be found here: #1294
I don't have an easy way to colorize the BOP grass, but I can try. As to why the biomes are barren... can you direct the current devs of BOP here to help me sort this out?
I did a bit of hunting through their source, and it looks like they might be preventing decoration outside of their custom world type?
I've talked with one of the BoP developers in their discord, and referenced this issue.
Forstride's response was "The issue isn't going to be fixed in a single day, nor do I know when it will be, because Adubbz hasn't been around, and probably won't be doing anything until we update to 1.13"
It seems like there won't be any assistance coming from the BoP developers, unless you managed to contact them personally.
If it is indeed their custom world type someone from Discord suggested that for instances with BoP + Mystcraft, have Mystcraft call the BoP worldtype for age generation, (otherwise BoP will always select vanilla generation and produce this bug.)
Additionally, the custom color issue seems to be universal with all modded grass, foliage and decoration. Twilight Forest also seems affected by this issue for example. I may open a second issue for this, as modded plant life appears to only obey biome coloration, and ignores custom colors.
