Out of process Winforms designer in VS2022 17.9.2 is not working

Microsoft has released now with VS 17.9.2 the out of process designer for Winforms to support also 32 bit applications. Unfortunately the new designer throws an exception "The language for this file does not support the necessary code parsing and generation services. Please ensure the file you are opening is a member of a project and then try to open the file again. "

Since we want to switch to Winforms with our product, it would be very important for us that the designer works in the future.

Hand Joerg, The out-of-process designer is hard coded for C# and VB only.... We're looking into a way to work around this.
