Should bones support Show/Hide animation?
Hi Ted,
I have a little issue that may be a bug.
If hide animation is added to a bone in "Bone Properties" tab it is not exported.
But if hide animation is added to a bone in "Object Properties" tab it is working as expected.

I just want to skip adding the hide animation to each object parented to a bone which is part of a bone chain.

!! I've wanted to have more fully airplane examples for so long, how have I not heard about the project?!
2nd.... you've stumbled into either bad UI or a bug!
It looks like since the bone is a bone, it doesn't have the code to collect Show/Hide animations. Only Object (or empty) datablocks are currently supporting Show/Hide
Hi Ted, I thought this might be the case, but as an average user I feel obligated to use the software in ways it was never designed to be used and complain about it 🤣 Not to mention skipping the manual...
It will be nice to have the feature, but only if it take you no more than 5 lines of code and no more than 5 minutes to do and test it. It took me as much to add the hide to objects including 3 minutes just waiting for the sim to load :) It is a special use case that does not deserve more attention. I just love bones and pose mode with all the possibilities constrains and IK give for complex animation in blender.
I am not advertising the Dromader a lot because it is still a WIP. It has some obvious bugs to be fixed and some more to be featured, but I am getting there. I have mentioned it here and there, even created a topic in the org development section, but it got little attention :)
