Description
not sure if anybody would care about this but autofarm doesnt check for empty, tilled, farmland, only for farmland that has shit growing outside of it already my suggestsion is that there is an option to plant seeds into empty farmland blocks
The reason it doesn't do that is because it's not clear what type of plant should be planted on empty farmland blocks. I don't want AutoFarm to mess up someone's farm by planting the wrong seeds in the wrong spots, so instead it completely leaves that decision up to the player and only replants seeds where it has seen them before.
I'm not sure what the best solution would be to make AutoFarm able to plant new seeds on empty farmland blocks. It would have to be optional and have predictable behavior. Also keep in mind that AutoFarm supports a lot more plant types than just the ones that go on farmland, some of which can be planted almost anywhere (complete chaos). What would be the planting logic for those?
maybe it could select the seed from what you select in your hotbar, same logic as tillaura but then it continues to plant the same seed and pulls from your inventory. maybe convoluted idk
The problem with this approach is that AutoFarm already changes which seed you have selected in your hotbar automatically in order to replant things. So it would be kind of uncontrollable - the moment a plant near you randomly needs replanting, AutoFarm would switch to that seed, replant it, and start planting that same seed everywhere.
i mean i personally just deal with that issue and quickly switch it off, im unaware of a fix to that
