Some updates before next release

This PR does some small clean-up (hopefully before the next release):

  • README: update for changes done since 0.0.16 that hadnt been done in their respective PRs
  • README: some text improvement
  • CHANGELOG: mention #114
  • LIB: add missing features and default features
  • GLOBAL: add error if connection_type is empty (like diesel_backends)
