Support for Proxy Connections

I don't see a way to set up/add a proxy for connecting to slimcat. How do I accomplish this?

slimCat does not have any explicit proxy support, it just asks windows for a connection.

I might be paranoid, but there are places where I would like to access F-chat without the network knowing I am accessing it, so being able to use slimCat with proxy would be very helpful.
