Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

On macOS Tahoe (26), MediaMate struggles to consistently display Now Playing information.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Expected behavior

It is expected to have the currently playing media artwork and progress to be consistently displayed.

Please complete the following information:

  • OS: Tahoe 26
  • Device MBP M2 Pro
  • Version 2.7.3 build 302

Additional context You can find more information about situations leading to correct or wrong behavior on macscripter, as I suspect Media Mate uses Applescript to interact with Apple Music. This means the issue does not come from MediaMate, but an alternative to AppleScript would be interesting if found.

Same issue from time to time.

I've noticed it doesn't occur with downloaded songs, only when I "stream". But if I then download, it works just fine. I'm sure it'll get fixed around the public release!

This might be fixed in the latest update. Could you update the app and check if the issue has been resolved?

The issue still persists on version 3.8.3 (MacBook Air M4 Tahoe 26.0)
