Memex doesn't save tags/bookmarks in Firefox 89.0

1. Can you describe the problem and bug in more detail? Tags/bookmarks get removed immediately after activation. The animation happens (e.g., the heart gets filled when bookmarking), but is then reset, and no tag or bookmark is saved. This issue happens specifically in Firefox 89.0, and seems to have started after their recent UI-overhaul. The removal and clean install of the app doesn't help. In Chrome version 91.0.4472.101 it all works as expected.

2. How can we replicate the issue?

• Install the lastest Firefox
• Install Memex-extension
• Try to use tags/bookmarks

3. Expected behavior (i.e. solution) Tags/bookmarks get saved.

4. Error stack (from extension crash page) No.
