Bug: Deleting highlight doesn't remove it until reload

If reporting a bug:

1. Can you describe the problem and bug in more detail?

Deleting a highlight from the sidebar doesn't remove it until you refresh the page.

2. How can we replicate the issue?

• Load a page;
• Select and highlight a block of text;
• Click the green highlight - it'll turn light blue and the sidebar will display;
• Delete the highlight and confirm;

The highlight will no longer appear on the sidebar, but the text will remain highlighted on the document in light blue. You'll need to reload the page to make the highlight go away.

3. Expected behavior (i.e. solution)

Highlight disappears when you delete it.

I can confirm that. What's more, I can't find a way to unhighlight light blue after clicking (except for going to another highlight).

For this picture: I see no other intuitive way to make both highlights green other than to reload the page.

Note: it's all without deleting them.
