Validate Old Canvas Bug Tickets

🐛 Bug Report

There are old bug tickets that need to be validated to determine if they should be closed out. The following JIRA bugs need to be reviewed:

  • ☑️ 403
  • ☑️ 529
  • ☑️ 536
  • ☑️ 540
  • ☑️ 542
  • ☑️ 544
  • 545 Disabled item behavior in Select menu
  • ☑️ 571

In Scope:

  • Investigating these tickets within JIRA
  • Determine if they are in fact solved or cannot repro
  • Create issue for work to be completed

Out of Scope:

  • Fixing the bugs

I need to check if 545 is still valid, but it sounds like A11y's latest recommendation from 2022 is not to have disabled items in the Select menu at all. If that's still the case, we should update our example and our guidance.
