Some SEO improvements:
- The breadcrumb on https://wordpress.org/playground/ reads “Playground”, can we please make that “WordPress playground”?
- Can we change the sentence “The platform that lets you run WordPress instantly on any device without a host.” to “WordPress Playground is the platform that lets you run WordPress instantly on any device without a host.”
- Change the sentence “A single
A small social improvement:
- We should really give the WP Playground “homepage” an og:image
cc @juanmaguitar would you be able to incorporate the documentation notes in your work on the documentation structure?
About og:image on https://w.org/playgroun – is this something you can help with @jasmussen?
I'm heading out for a couple of weeks of vacation so either it'll have to wait or hopefully someone else can help!
cc @juanmaguitar would you be able to incorporate the documentation notes in https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-playground/pull/1602?
@adamziel I'm checking this and I don't see any specific actions to be done at https://wordpress.github.io/wordpress-playground/. All the feedback corresponds to https://wordpress.org/playground/ page.
I have added the "WordPress" word to the title, but are there any other SEO actions you consider should be applied to the docs?
I've updated the copy on https://wordpress.org/playground/ as proposed in the description. We don't have an og:image, that would be the last item to close this issue. @jasmussen, would you be able to help with that?
This is lovely, thank you so much @jasmussen!
Do you know how to set up that og:image on w.org/playground @dd32?

It doesn't look like there's any opengraph tags on the site at present, I'm assuming that you could set it as a featured image and get that automatically from Jetpack I think I'm not 100% sure.
To customise all of the opengraph tags though, you can do something in the wporg-wasm theme similar to what other themes do: wporg-main-2022 or wporg-plugins-2024 Note that both of these include handling for rosetta sites (ie. https://de.wordpress.org/) which playground doesn't have.
LMK if you need help with any of those.
Thank you @dd32! I just started a new issue to track this. Let's close this one.
