Pattern creator: Content width too narrow, can't use wide or full alignment

Describe the bug

There is a mismatch between pattern editor and pattern preview, rendering the editor unusable:

The pattern editor content width is very narrow.

It also does not allow setting up wide/full alignment on top-level blocks in the content area.

Expected behavior Editor should be full width and it should allow setting up wide/full alignment for the top-level blocks.

FWIW - The incredibly narrow width of the Editor is one of the primary things that me abandon trying to submit my first pattern.
