Updating diary dates post Marketing blog (P2) & Team calendar
This Diary Dates post appears on the P2 marketing homepage in the Highlight box. It:
- provides a quick look at the dates for the forthcoming month
- helps those who can not open or import the WordPress Marketing Team public calendar
- is to be linked from from the weekly agenda and shared in the weekly meetings
- is to be updated for the start of each month, with any changes added inbetween. Anyone with CMS access to the P2 Marketing can be asked/ volunteer to update this
November 2021 - updated post by @abhansnuk (webcommsat) and @meherbala (meher), and included @OlaIola (oglekler) information on how to import diary dates from the Marketing Team calendar.
Team calendar on Google (updates for new team reps):
- Yvette and Nalini checked they were able to add to the Team calendar. Link was resent to Nicholas.
- Larissa to check her access still works when she is back.
- Abha has changed the meeting time for thee next few weeks to the new time in the calendar. Team reps can take this on from there.
P2 diary dates:
- shared with new team reps, and checked all have access to edit / update this.
As you have had problems with updating this. With the current holidays, @nalininsbs and @murillol you might find it easier to add the new team reps to the calendar etc in 2023 when the people you need are available as there is a time limited period when users have to confirm acceptance. As there are multiple countries, suggest you follow Google's advice from last year to leave a gap of a few days between each person added to the calendar to stop google think the account is being hacked. When I am back if you need any further help on the IT side, I will try to help.
