What is HelpHub

HelpHub is the ultimate home for all of the WordPress user documentation previously resided in the WordPress Codex. ‘HelpHub’ is the project name and part of WordPress.org Documentation.

Planning meetings are held weekly on Tuesdays at 14:00 UTC in the #docs channel on Slack. The next meeting is at Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 03:00 PM GMT+1 your time.

If you find refinement points, technical errors, editing error etc., add an issue to Documentation issue tracker. Any comments are welcome. For example:

• Unclear or wrong description
• Missing steps, URL links
• Outdated links
• Outdated screenshots
• Outdated description (ex. WordPress 5.x, etc.)
• Using of out of date Plugins or Themes

Gutenberg article modification (do we still use Gutenberg or is it now FSE or Block Editor?)

Getting account

Steps for creating a new article

1. Ask to be assigned an issue from the GH issue tracker
2. Look for the project board
3. Add the article to the WordPress End-user docs inventory
4. Update the article within the project board
5. Update the WP End-user docs inventory's type and category columns
6. Update the WP End-user docs inventory's link column after publishing
