  • [ ] Site Tagline: Add border support (63778)

General

  • [ ] Make sure all screenshots are relevant to the latest version
  • [ ] Make sure videos, if any, are up to date
  • [ ] Add ALT tags for the images
  • [ ] Make sure the headings are in sentence case
  • [ ] Convert all reusable blocks to a ‘regular block’.
  • [ ] Update the changelog at the end of the article

Notes

  1. We are not adding detailed updates for the Block settings - Typography, Color, Layout, Dimension and Border and for the More Options setting in the block toolbar. Pls mention the settings included for the block and link to the detailed settings pages instead.
  2. Some of the PRs have great videos that can be added to the article.

Border

Border settings allow you to customize the appearance of block borders by adjusting properties such as border width, style (solid, dashed, dotted, etc.), and color.

Also, you can control border radius to create rounded corners for a softer look. These settings help define block separation, enhance visual hierarchy, and improve overall design consistency.

Block Toolbar

The Site Tagline block shows seven buttons in the block toolbar:

Transform to Drag icon Move arrows Align Change level Change text alignment More options

Click on the “Transform” button to convert the Site Title block into a “Group” block, “Details” block or “Columns” block.

The up and down arrow icons can be used to move the block up or down inside the group of nested blocks.

Align

This option helps to align the block with options such as None(Max 645 wide), Wide width (Max 1340 wide) and Full width.

Change Level

This option allows to change the tagline level to paragraph, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6.
