Why is this a problem?

Because broken links are disruptive to people interested in the doc, and probably seo too.

Suggested Fix

I am not sure what should be on the target https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/basics/page-templates/ which is a not found 404. Probably this? https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/template-files-section/page-template-files/
