[6.5 HelpHub] Images & Gallery blocks

This update affects both blocks and both articles need to be changed

Updates for 6.5

  • [ ] Lightbox support and change in location of that control

General

  • [ ] Make sure all screenshots are relevant to the latest version
  • [ ] Make sure videos, if any, are up to date
  • [ ] Add ALT tags for the images
  • [ ] Make sure the headings are in sentence case
  • [ ] Convert all reusable blocks to a ‘regular block’.
  • [ ] Update the changelog at the end of the article

Hi @estelaris I reviewed the article and all the images and videos are relevant to the latest version 6.5.2. Also, the Alt tags for the images are added and consistent with the image. And the titles are in sentence case. As I can't access the backend, I couldn't check the reusable blocks or update the changelog. Please /review and let me know if there's anything else needed from my end. Thanks!

@charisseannt we need the information regarding the lightbox support. Check Enhanced background and shadow tools on the 6.5 release page so you can understand the feature

Updates for 6.5

Lightbox support and change in location of that control The expand on Click option creates a link in the image that opens it to a bigger size, as a dialog on the same page, when clicked. This is called the lightbox effect and it's useful when you want the viewer to have the chance to see a certain image with more details without needing too much space while reading the content. To do this, go to the image, select the link icon on the block's options, and select Expand on click. image
