Report content (issue description)

I searched Google for WordPress Revisions and this article was near the top of the results. However, it doesn’t explain to me where or how to access revisions in WordPress which is what I’m looking for.

Heads up @WordPress/docs-issues-coordinators, we have a new issue open. Time to use 'em labels.

This is a gap in the documentation. I suggest adding a section called "Accessing Revisions":

Accessing Revisions

In the sidebar of the editor, select the "Revisions" option:

Revisions

ALT Text: Access the Revisions in the sidebar

Once selected, you are taken to a screen that enables you to restore a previous version:

Revisions-View

ALT Text: Revisions screen

I also suggest shortening "Description" to:

The WordPress revisions system records each saved draft or published update.

Then add the heading "Using Revisions".

Under this structure, it would be:

  • "Description"
  • "Accessing Revisions"
  • "Using Revisions"
